2015

My first article in a large and respected national newspaper about the work to promote Nanotechnology in Brazil, through innovative entrepreneurship. The publication also features myself in the nanotechnology history timeline.

Member of the organizing committee of the first national trade fair in Nanotechnology - NanoTrade Show. Led an 11-member delegation of API.nano in a unique space for business development in Brazil.

API.nano first engagement with Society of Automotive, Brazilian Chapter - SAE Brasil, presenting Nanotechnology innovations to all major automotive companies in Brasil.

The event was a complete success that the SAE Brasil Chairman decided that same day to create a permanent Comitee of New Materials and Nanotechnology.

2013

Launch of API.nano by the then President of the CERTI Foundation and creator Carlos Alberto Schineider, in Florianópolis, with the presence and support of the then MCTI Secretary Adalberto Fazzio and other dignitaries. On that day I was elected by the members of API.nano, its Executive Secretary, a task that I fulfilled with great satisfaction and dedication.

Invited to represent Prof. Luismar Porto at the 1st Technical-Scientific Symposium of API.nano in Florianópolis, without this opportunity I would have given up my career in Nanotechnology.

In the same year I started my Post-doc under supervision of Prof. Luismar in his InteLAB group, at UFSC. Therefore I always be grateful to him.

2010

Received my PhD title in Nanotechnology from the University of Sheffield. My PhD theme was Modeling Mobility: Nanoswimmers moving at  nanoscale, a robust and new theory to control  and design autonomous motion of nanoswimmers (nanorobot) at nanoscale under Brownian motion by solving Langevin Equations. The methods were extensively tested (over Terabytes of data) and the numerical results strongly agreed with the experimental data.

2006

After years of looking  for an opportunity to work with Nanotechnology, I found Prof. Anthony Ryan OBE, from the University of Sheffield, very famous in the field of Nanotechnology, and awarded by the Queen with the title of Order of the British Empire (OBE), for services to Science, which gave me the opportunity to do a doctorate right after my graduation. I am eternally grateful for Prof. Tony Ryan, and also the equally renowned Prof. Richard Jones FRS (British Government Adviser for Nanotechnology and Other Technologies), Prof. Patrick Fairclough brilliant polymer scientist and independent advisor and Prof. Ramin Golestanian, one of the best theoretical physicists of today.
